OK, so it has been a few weeks since I have reported in. Here is what I have worked on thus far:

1. I posted laneware.net to 15-20 web directories relating to web hosting & web design.
2. I wrote a short article about SEO and published the article to ezinearticles.com. The article signature has a backlink to laneware.net
3. I wrote a press release about Laneware's free web hosting services and posted the release to 3-4 sites.

Now it has only been a few weeks but here are the google search results:

Current Rank: Page 3
Previous Rank: Page 5

Keyword: Buffalo Web Design
Current Rank: Page 11
Previous Rank: NA

Using a backlink tool, I was able to see that most of the backlinks have not kicked in yet. I figured this could take up to a month or more. In the meantime, I will continue generating backlinks. Also, I intend on optimizing my website's keywords a little more. Especially the web design services portion of the site. That's it for now.
